J. H. Hepse Co., Inc. was founded by John H. Hespe in 1952. The company was purchased in 1988 by Jim Lange and John Theisen. In 2011, Mr. Theisen retired from J. H. Hespe Co., Inc.


J. H. Hespe Co., Inc. is a building contractor. We bid and negotiate commercial, public, and semi-public projects in Northeast Nebraska. We have constructed building projects for Bank of Norfolk, Norwest Bank, First Bank, Elkhorn Valley Bank, Immaculata Monastery, Nucor Corporation, Vulcraft, Northeast Community College, Norfolk Public and Catholic Schools, Pierce Public Schools, Luthern High Northeast, Affiliated Foods, Norfolk Beverage, Liberty Centre, apartment buildings and churches for several entities, and Faith Regional Health Services East and West Campuses.

Mr. Lange joined J. H. Hespe Co., Inc. in 1976 as an intern in the field and estimator/draftsman. In 1988, he and Mr. John Theisen purchased J. H. Hespe Co., Inc.
